FIELD: decontamination of liquid radioactive solutions by sorption method. SUBSTANCE: liquid radioactive solutions are treated with oxalic acid until its content in contaminated solution reaches 5•10-4 mol/l, nitric acid contact is brought to 0.1-0.5 mol/l, and pH value in solution is set at 1.0-0.3. Weak acid solution obtained is sequentially passed through cation and anion exchangers. In this way, solutions are effectively cleaned of Cs, Zr, and Nb isotopes which are at the same time separated on columns. EFFECT: improved environmental friendliness of procedure, facilitated process, and reduced cost.
