FIELD: laser engineering. SUBSTANCE: laser board is built up of plate cathodes fixed in composite clamps made of electricity and heat conducting material with their cylindrical surfaces secured on cooled metal tubes; clearances between tubes and clamp surfaces are filled with heat conducting material; clamps in cathode rows are separated by heat-resistant insulators fitted with their cylindrical holes onto cooled tubes. Cathode rows are separated by solid gaskets made of insulating material and all clearances between solid gaskets and composite clamps receive heat-resistant dielectric sections which cover entire surface of board on gas-discharge chamber side except for cathode surfaces. Cooled tubes of cathode rows are connected through sealed joints and split connectors to headers provided with cooling water inlet and outlet pipe connections. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 5 dwg
