FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making hand passes from top to down over patient body 7 to 11 times, before performing curative actions, for detecting segments of channels characterized by Ci energy circulation disorders based on sensation in hand palms. Then, curative actions are performed upon biologically active points Pi-shu, Shen-wu, Ge-shu, Wei-shu, San-yin-jiao, Zu-san-li, Gan-shu, Zhi-gou, Tan-shu and new point of Yi-shu that can be found 1.5 Cun aside at the level of space between spinous processes of the eighth and ninth thoracic vertebrae. Needles are introduced into the points for 15-20 min. 3-5 min later, non-contact hand action is applied to the detected segments of channels characterized by Ci energy circulation disorders. After taking off corporal needles, auricular points Zhi, Tan-lan, Pan, Sheng, Yuan-zhong, Ping-jiang, Ju-gan are subjected to treatment with applicator balls set in turn once every three days alternately on the right and on the left ear. Patient performs auricular points massage twice a day by pressing each applicator ball with finger pad and slightly rotating it during 1-1.5 min. The patient does also 5-11 Ci-gong breathing exercises of general strengthening action, cleaning bronchi and lung, improving mood, esophagus function, normalizing heart beat rhythm, stomach contraction function, improved hearing function, vision, joint motility, normalizing muscular tension in organism. The whole treatment course involves administering procedures during 10-14 days and repeating the course in 3-6 months during which the patient continues doing Ci-gong breathing exercises. EFFECT: accelerated and stable drop in sugar concentration; improved carbon hydrate metabolism. 1 tbl
