DIE FOR RECONDITIONING OF CROSS CUTTERS Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: repair jobs, in particular, tools for reconditioning of cross cutters of industrial meat choppers by method of plastic deformation. SUBSTANCE: die has combined female die which consists of part which follows shape of cutter and pushing parts mounted for relative motion in vertical plane, punch, centering mandrel and pusher. Facing each other working surfaces of female die and punch have projections conjugated by radius with vertical surfaces of working surfaces. These projections have similar and counter-directed bevels for cutter edges to be reconditioned with an angle of inclination determined by the offered relation. Female die part that follows cutter contour and spring-loaded in axial direction is made with bevels-catchers, central axial hole, conical external surface and internal surface having bevels directed towards body bearing surface. Hollow confined by working surfaces of punch and female die with closed position of fie has in cross-section form of conjugated by bases equilateral trapezium and rectangle.
