FIELD: automation of production processes; may be used in orientation of parts in the form of flat plate, isosceles trapezium in shape, on operations of machining, assembly, building up, facing measurement, etc. SUBSTANCE: parts are transported with the help of rotary disc. During transportation, improperly oriented part is secured in disc upper part. Properly oriented part with radial recess in which part is located is aligned with through channel, slides over it under gravity and gets into withdrawing tray. With recess bypassing the channel, improperly oriented part is unfastened. It is reoriented in the disc lower part by its tilting to the other base and enters withdrawing tray in properly oriented position. EFFECT: enhanced probability of plate outcome in properly oriented position, and improved reliability of the method. 4 dwg
