FIELD: machine engineering, automatization of manufacturing processes, namely orientation of rods. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of orienting cylindrical rods having one end in the form of sphere or cone and other flanged end; feeding rod from delivery chute to groove of disc and transporting it by rotating disc; at transportation deflecting rod from vertical position by angle providing non-stable position for non-correctly oriented part; reorienting part and placing it to necessary position by tilting it to grid window while matching in upper portion of disc its groove and window for subsequently transporting part along tunnel path to discharging chute. Correctly oriented part is fed to discharging chute at matching groove in upper portion of disc with through duct. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities for orienting rods. 4 dwg
