FIELD: road building. SUBSTANCE: claimed method comprises contacting mixture of components at temperature higher than 230-250 C for period ranging from 1 h to 45 min. After such treatment operation, mix of bitumen and polymer is stabilized, and under fluidity conditions that arise during hot storage, the system does not appear to be separated into two phases after prolonged period of time. Mixing is carried out for at least minimum period of time calculated according to equation: T = 0,00007t2-0,12616t+255,1274 wherein T is temperature higher than 230-250 C, t is time in minutes. Bitumen has penetration value of 30-220 dnm, softening point of 35-55 C and penetration index from - 1.5 and +1.5. Polymer is styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer having/or linear structure with molecular weight from 100,000 to 250,000. Bitumen polymeric mix is prepared by mixing 85-98 wt % bitumen and 2-15 wt % block copolymer. Process is carried out in inert atmosphere. EFFECT: more efficient preparation method. 5 cl, 1 dwg 5 tbl
