FIELD: biological treatment of liquids and gases. SUBSTANCE: invention may find use in chemical, petroleum-processing, wood-working , food, agricultural, and biotechnological industries for treating liquids and effluent gases to remove organic impurities such as phenol compounds, alcohols, aldehydes, mercaptans, aromatics, alkanes, and alkenes. Plant contains casing with nipples to feed and discharge air and liquid being treated, refluxing unit, microorganism suspension collector, circulation pump connected to refluxing unit and microorganism suspension collector, and treated water collector in bottom part of casing. According to invention, under refluxing unit and over microorganism suspension collector, sheet filters with filtrate discharge pipes are successively fastened in connection with treated water collector in lower part of casing. Refluxing unit is constructed in the form of Segner's wheel or manifold with nozzles. Between filtrate discharge pipes and treated water collector, manifold with valve for periodically switching off filtrate drainage can be placed. Between filter sheets, packed sheets can be inserted and, in the gaps between the sheets, gauzes fastened. EFFECT: enhanced treatment efficiency. 5 cl, 5 dwg
