FIELD: precious metal metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method includes separating melting of initial materials to form high-density alloy including precious metals and oxide slag. Slag melt is cooled by draining it into recycling water stream - granulation. Resulting granulate is additionally separated into light and heavy fractions using washing with water in centrifugal separator or jigging machine. Heavy granulate fraction is subjected to melting as affinage middlings. Light fraction is remelted in mixture with raw material of copper-nickel production. As a result, mass of materials subjected to additionally remelting is 5-50 times reduced, and high-density alloys are 40-100 times enriched in precious metals.
