FIELD: sealing technology; sealing and lubricating devices of pistons. SUBSTANCE: built-up piston ring is made in form of circular members having trapezoidal or triangular section; circular members are engageable by their inclined surfaces. Sharp end of circular member is directed to surface of cylinder to be sealed for probable engagement with it; its width exceeds width of member of trapezoidal section. On side of piston groove bottom, members have equal height; member of trapezoidal section is provided with zigzag lock having cylindrical center portion; its inclined surface is provided with radial grooves for flow of oil.
