FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves dividing air exchange among lung and surrounding medium into two respiratory channels, the first one being natural way through rhinopharynx and the second one being artificially open way through oral cavity. Air-conducting apparatus is to be introduced into oral cavity to make contact and fixation of palate immovability and uvula palatina with distal end of the apparatus during the whole sleep duration. Being applied as artificial channel (way) for breathing mainly in sleeping, obstacle against closing jaws and lips and occluding passage for making breathing in (air uptake), the apparatus excludes swallowing tube, its displacement towards below-positioned respiration zones. Mouth-piece as oval plate is manufactured on the tube. To exclude involuntary fall of the apparatus from oral cavity during sleep, the mouth-piece has additional circumferential mouth-piece plate. To exclude closing lips on entry (air uptake) during sleep, the mouth-piece plate is fixed at a distance from the entry equal to lips thickness (size), mainly greater than that. To maintain aeration, moistening oral cavity and reducing air flow resistance, perforation holes are made on the mouth-piece plate and tube walls. To fix soft palate and uvula palatina in immovable state, the distal end of the apparatus has ellipsoid shape adequate to tongue shape. EFFECT: reduced air jet flow rate. 2 cl, 1 dwg
