FIELD: rolling equipment, namely apparatuses for mounting rolls of working stands of rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes screw electric drive, hydraulic drive mechanism for synchronously moving chocks of upper roll and switching-over system. Said hydraulic drive includes accumulator station, charge tank, balancing cylinders, pressing cylinders, doubled metering pump, pipeline and hydraulic device system. Said pressing cylinders and high-pressure cylinders of metering pump are joined by means of separate pipelines for forming together with them closed systems connected with pressure relays, pressure difference relays through shut-off slide valve-charge tank and through separate arranged in parallel shut-off slide valve and subsidiary pressure valve-additional closed reservoirs with liquid. Low pressure cylinder of metering pump is joined with said accumulator station through successively mounted shut-off and reversing slide valves. Said metering pump is also provided with return cylinder joined with said accumulator system and pickups for monitoring positions of movable members. At biting strip by rolls switching-over system disconnects said charge tank from closed systems and operates metering pump after some time delay. It provides reliable biting and further additional reduction of strip. When deformation zone is non-symmetrical one said pressure difference relay connects additional reservoir to less load pressure cylinder. It lowers roll skewness. Said additional reduction value of strip is controlled by means of said pickups monitoring position of movable members of metering pump and pressure relay. At both above mentioned cases shut-off slide valve operates on pipeline of low pressure cylinder of metering pump. EFFECT: enhanced operational parameters of apparatus. 3 cl, 1 dwg
