FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to method, worn-out journal of crankshaft is ground to required dimension depending on extent of wear. Sectional bush is made of four strips in the form of rectangular trapezium by bending each of strips along base of trapezium in compliance with radius of worn-out surface. Thus produced components are placed on surface of worn section and are conjugated to each other through sides of trapeziums along two generants and two spiral lines. Obtained joints are welded. Parameters of strips are correlated with radius of crankshaft journal through relation based on energy of setting joints at cooling down to ambient temperature. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
