FIELD: photographic-type composing devices of reproduction type for hand composition. SUBSTANCE: unit has body made in the form of walls installed on base with vertical slots in opposite wall, shield located horizontally on base, composing sticks, means for installing of composing sticks on shield, type characters installed in composing sticks, and camera installed vertically by means of brackets attached to box with diffusing glass and plate with camera lens. Guide means are made in the form of two mechanisms. Each mechanism consists of rollers installed from top and from the bottom on internal sides of body walls and closed bent member embracing rollers and forming horizontal and vertical branches. Attached to respective vertical branches are box with diffusing glass, and plate with lens balanced by counterweights. Mechanisms are interconnected by means of automatic focusing of camera made in the form of parallel link mechanism located on one of body walls and connected with camera through slot in wall by means of bolts. Means for automatic focusing of camera has a pair of rectangular and a pair of curved guides located on two opposite walls of body and symmetrically installed relative to vertical slots. Parallel link mechanism is equilink and installed with the help of vertical hinges by bolts secured to box with diffusion glass and plate with lens and with the help of horizontal hinges to pair of guides for possible reinstallation on guides located on the other wall of body with simultaneous replacement of camera lens.
