FIELD: photographic technology. SUBSTANCE: framing device has base, framework coupled to base, pair of vertical and pair of horizontal rules, facility for parallel displacement of rules made as two similar mechanisms. Each mechanism consists of pairs of preset-diameter rollers positioned in base corners and of closed flexible member embracing rollers. Rules are coupled to respective rollers through runners. Device also has facility for fixing of preset mode of rule synchronous displacement. Base is manufactured of transparent material. Framework and base are coupled rigidly to each other. They may be installed on illumination chamber. Rules and mechanisms of their displacement are positioned on base. One mechanism is turned in its plane through 90 deg. relative to the other. Rollers are positioned on one level. Corresponding pairs of rollers of both mechanisms are coupled by their preset relation of diameters. One of runners of every rule carries pairs of rollers embraced by additional formed branches of respective flexible member. Facility for fixing of preset mode of rule synchronous displacement is made as seven-link hinged parallelogram which may be installed easily in any corner of base. It couples respective pairs of rollers of both mechanisms for their synchronous rotation in similar or opposite directions. EFFECT: extended capabilities. 3 cl, 5 dwg
