FIELD: railway transport; power supply devices of railway cars. SUBSTANCE: device has ac source, for instance, ac generator with main rectifier and voltage booster-charging converter connected in series with ac generator, storage battery with switch whose output input is connected to output of AC source ands storage battery. Main rectifier is connected to car consumers through car supply buses. One pole of storage battery is connected to one car supply bus. Second pole of storage battery is connected to other bus through switch breaking contact. Making contact of switch is connected to corresponding output of voltage booster-charging converter and to additional diode and voltage relay. Diode is connected in forward direction from tap of part of battery cells with car supply bus. Voltage relay is connected in parallel with above indicated part of battery cells. Output of voltage relay is connected to input of switch. EFFECT: prevention of voltage drops in car consumers supply circuits, keeping voltage supply voltage within tolerable limits. 2 cl, 1 dwg
