SUBSTANCE: device secured on wheel support disk consists of chamber 1 with freely fitted piston 2 with rod 3, tightly fitted piston 4 made in form of split spring ring 10 and plates 14 and 15 taking up pressure on ring 10, spring 5 and squibs 8 and 9. Rod 3 is connected to lever 21 of hand drive of brake shoes 18. If attempt is made to steal the car, signalling system operates forming igniting pulse delivered to squib 8. Powder gases, acting onto piston 4, move it, making piston 2 displace under action of spring 5 and rod 3 which, acting onto lever 21, sets brake shoe 18 into action thus locking the wheel. Brake system is held in this state by force of spring 5 thrusting against tightly fitted piston 4. Wheel can be unlocked by delivering igniting pulse to squib 9 which, exploding, provides reverse displacement of system of piston 2 and 4. EFFECT: enhanced protection of car. 4 cl, 5 dwg
