FIELD: railway transport; testing facilities; investigation of kinematic interaction of rolling stock and track in horizontal plane. SUBSTANCE: device has rigid frame carrying, minimum three variable capacitance noncontact converters and secured on frame of traction motor or axial reduction gear of rolling stock. Capacitance plates on noncontact converters are arranged at angle to vertical axis of rail and are placed in diode-capacitance bridges connected with computer through amplifiers. Two plates of variable-capacitance converter are arranged at angle within 25 and 45 degrees. EFFECT: improved reliability of checking. 2 cl, 3 dwg
