FIELD: railway transport; reconditioning and repair of wheelsets. SUBSTANCE: installation has base with guides for installation and movement of wheelsets mounted on base, support device, wheelset rotation drive and posts with fitted on processing equipment. Support device is made in form of jack with turnable carriage mounted on jack rod. Carriage is provided with supports with supporting rollers and side stops with thrust rollers. One of thrust rollers is made driven. Posts are hinge connected with base. Crossmembers are mounted on posts for travel along their axes. Crossmembers are furnished with mounting plates to install changeable processing equipment. Guides for mounting and movement of wheelsets are made extensible.
