FIELD: shut-off fittings used in gas and other industries. SUBSTANCE: ball cock includes body with inlet and outlet passages. Body is provided with ball lock having cylindrical axial hole and two seats. One seat is fitted in cover which closes one end of body. Control rod of lock is brought out of body through hole in its lateral surface. Ball lock is made from aluminium-based alloy with ceramic coats on spherical sealing surfaces and on surface of cylindrical axial hole. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
