FIELD: oil production industry.
SUBSTANCE: casing head stuffing box comprises sub with orifice for stuffing box rod receiving and with spherical head creating spherical joint. The spherical joint is arranged inside cylindrical body bush and comprises spherical support rings. Cup-type seal assembly with orifice for stuffing box rod receiving and with flange is installed on body bush. Casing head stuffing box also has blowout prevention valve with spring-loaded sealing member. Lower cushion sealing rings are put on spherical head. Support spherical rings are spring-loaded against inner end surfaces of spherical joint. Grooves with sealing rings are made in spherical surfaces and in inner cylindrical surface of support rings. Sealing member is ball-shaped. Rotary-lever mechanism axis is parallel to stuffing box rod. Blowout prevention valve is installed between stuffing box seals.
EFFECT: extended functional capabilities of wellhead assembly.
