FIELD: pipeline valves and fittings.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ball cocks and it is designed for use at high pressures of working medium. Fitted in body of ball cock are seats in form of sealing rings with flat end face surfaces and ball stopper with central through channel. Covers of body are provided with projections from inner side. Outer conical surface of covers engages with sealing ring. Inner conical surface of covers engages with ball stopper in closed position. Sealing ring is interference fitted. Smallest diameter of outer cone is equal to larger base of inner cone.

EFFECT: possibility of use of elastic and flexible materials, such as rubbers, for manufacture of sealing rings, reduced to minimum wear of sealing rings at operating under high pressures of working medium.
