FIELD: means of individual armor protection. SUBSTANCE: the device is made as a case with a code lock and rotating handle. The case accommodates parallel and coaxial movable and fixed armor plates. Safety and fixing devices are installed inside the case under the handle. The opening mechanism is made in the form of flexible members fastened in pairs with one ends of the movable plates. The fixing device may be made in the form of a turnplate rigidly connected to the handle, angle-of-turn restraining arm and a stop with spring-loaded V-shaped locks with lugs on movable armor plates made for them, and the safety device may be made as a spring-loaded strip rigidly connected to the composite disk of the code lock; a shaped cut-out for the stop of the fixing device is made in the strip.
