FIELD: geodetic measurements. SUBSTANCE: process of barometric levelling includes installation of barometric levelling system in base and trip points, synchronization of devices by interconnection of devices with the aid of communication interface and transmission of synchronization signal, measurement of pressure and meteorological parameters with preset time interval and calculation of pressure difference and altitude mark under automatic mode. Barometric levelling system has base and at least one trip devices incorporating unit 1 measuring meteorological parameters, unit 2 of measurement converter of pressure connected to unit 4 of secondary conversion manufactured on base of microprocessor and fitted with timer 3 and communication interface 6 and indication and control unit 5.
