PULSE IMPEDANCE FLAW DETECTOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2104520 C1

FIELD: acoustic flaw detection. SUBSTANCE: flaw detector has pulse generator, converter and control circuit connected to it, converter signal amplifier connected to inputs of two selective amplifiers, adders and indicator. Integrator of area of detected pulse signals is introduced into channel of converter signal processing. Integrator input is connected to outputs of selective amplifiers through adder and pulse voltage detectors. One output of selective amplifiers is tuned to fundamental frequency of maximum loaded converter and connected to adder through detector of positive pulse voltage, and the other output is tuned to fundamental frequency of unloaded converter and connected to adder through detector of negative pulse voltage and angle-digital storage device of maximum voltage values. Measuring input of storage device is connected to integrator output, and its output, to indicator. Reference voltage input is connected via automatic switch either to source of tuning reference voltage in scanning mode or to percentage set-point device of relative signalling level connected in parallel to reference voltage source when in operation. Control inputs of integrator analog-digital storage device and automatic switch are connected to control circuit outputs. EFFECT: more effective flaw detection. 1 dwg
