FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, garden equipment for selective picking of fruits of any size in difficult-to-get places on trees as well as on the ground. SUBSTANCE: pickup has hemispherical member divided into two parts and secured for movement in upper part of cylinder at points 5. Movable parts of hemispherical member allow it to be displaced between upper and lower positions so as to support fruit from the bottom and bypass it from the top and direct fruit spur under sharpened edges of knives. Movable parts of hemispherical member facilitate conveyance of fruits in any position of pickup from tree crown. Spring 7 urges parts 3 of hemispherical member to open in any position of pickup. Lower part of spring 7 is beyond plane of pickup casing and it does not hinder withdrawal of fruits from tree crown. Pickup may be also used in vegetable growing, when plants, such as tomato, have excessively grown bushes hindering penetration through them to fruits. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced injure to fruits and vegetables and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
