SUBSTANCE: device comprising receiving hopper with an entrance gate and an oblique bottom, and arc-shaped gripper. The gripper is mounted above the hopper with teeth so that the gripper arc ends are located on the sides of the hopper, and the topmost point of the arc is located above the hopper axis. The teeth and arranged along the gripper arc. They have parallel side edges and installed normal to the gripper arc plane. The pole hub is connected to the hopper using a hinge with a retainer securing the hopper in the desired position relative to the hub. The hopper entrance gate plane is located at an angle exceeding 90° relative to the gripper arc plane passing through the teeth bases. Inside of the receiving hopper at the intersection with the gripper arc plane, a fruit catcher with an oblique contact surface is installed. The fruit catcher is designed as a woven fabric band.

EFFECT: makes it possible to pick up fruit in any position on branches without damaging shocks and impacts and without shattering adjacent branches.
