FIELD: electrophysical and electrochemical methods of machining, in particular, electric erosion machining. SUBSTANCE: method includes application to electrodes of ultrasonic oscillations, and working voltage is coordinated by synchronization device with period of ultrasonic oscillations and occurs at the plate of electrode maximum departure for the period of ultrasonic oscillations. At the stage of electrodes drawing together, cleaning of part surface takes place and removal of erosion products from zone of machining is accomplished due to cavitation phenomena.
