FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, equipment for oil production industry, screw extruders of horizontal type for screw pressing of vegetable oils from unhulled oil seeds of sunflower, rape, flax, soy-bean, etc, containing two parallel conjugate auger shafts rotating in the same direction. SUBSTANCE: screw extruder for screw pressing of vegetable oils has a working chamber with a loading window with sections having an impermeable wall and expeller sections, two parallel conjugate variable- pitch auger shafts located along this chamber and helix flights of different thickness, and grinding cam pieces. The starting section of the auger shafts making up 1/3 of their length has a variable flight-to-pitch ratio increasing discretely in the direction from to the loading window to the expeller section within 0.12...0.18 to 0.30...0.40. EFFECT: enhanced capacity due to the increase of the amount of the source vegetable oil-containing raw material pass through the working chamber per unit of time and intensification of processing. 2 dwg
