FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to equipment for vegetable oil and oilcake production in oil processing industry. A vegetable oil press comprises a frame made as two arcs touching each other and following the profile of worms set inside, a die, lock washers, studs where pressing plates are mounted. Nuts adjusting the gap between the pressing plates are set at the stud ends. A case in the form of a hollow threaded cylinder is installed at the die. A tapered bush is set in the die to adjust the gap between the case and the die. The tapered bush is fitted by a screw providing for the operation of the press as a granulator. The press is equipped by a variable speed controller to control worms' rotating speed. Band winding is provided at the worms to ensure even mixing of different types of raw oil material.

EFFECT: invention implementation allows for the improvement of the finished product quality.
