FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods aimed at prevention of unauthorized use of vehicles. According to proposed method, prior to application of unique individual marking onto articles and/or parts of vehicle which is essentially a unique code, individual codes applied to surfaces of vehicle articles and/or parts by manufacture are checked against data entered into vehicle Certificate by authorities having the right to issue said Certificate. Unique code is formed, being unique individual marking, according to unique individual algorithm determined by vehicle owner and/or other person and/or authorized organization providing privacy. Stencil is made of metal provided with shaped cuts made at right and/or canted angle to form said code. Said unique individual marking, i.e. said code, is applied to surfaces of articles and/or parts of vehicle made of glass and/or plastic and/or metal by means of air jet delivered, at a pressure of 5-12 atm, and containing suspension of abrasive material particles over metal stencil with shaped cuts to form shaped groove by air jet with suspended matter with canted and/or right angles and depth from 0.1 mm to 2 mm, with irregular surface of groove bottom containing particles of abrasive material and forming on surface of articles and or parts of vehicle and individual marking presenting said unique code. Data concerning said code and/or place/places of its application on surfaces of articles and/or parts of vehicle are entered into electronic data bank of marking maker and/or other authorities. Data on marking with unique code and/or place of its application and/or coded data on presence on articles and /or parts of vehicle of said unique code for forming of which unique individual algorithm has been used are entered into made and registered document issued by manufacturer, also protected by unique individual marking. Said document is used at checking and/or searching and/or investigation actions and for additional determination of belonging of vehicle.
EFFECT: improved reliability and provision of quick determination of belonging of vehicle to a person and parts of said vehicle.
