FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method to produce gaged coke consists in dividing a load of a coking ground charge with the help of inert partitions into separate parts and its further coking.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce coke with lower intensity of a structure and with low quantity of cracks, with higher homogeneity and indices of coke quality, with increased yield of product classes of coke and reduced losses with fine classes, with improved operational properties due to the possibility of even loading into a furnace and even heat transfer, with lower production wastes.
