FIELD: automatic control of reactor units for oxidation of oil residue to bitumen. SUBSTANCE: method includes accurate regulation of flow rate of additionally circulating oil residues in reactor dependent on flow rate of initial raw material of oxidation due to correction of temperature value and viscosity of oil residue in reactor, flow rate of air and water supplied to caverns parameters of product quality and oxygen content in effluent gases from reactor. Cooling water flow rate is varied depending on temperature of oil residues in reactor, and air flow rate is varied depending on oxygen content in gases effluent from reactor. EFFECT: higher efficiency of method due to intensification of the process of oxidation of oil residues and improved accuracy in control of reactor. 1 dwg
