FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: floating sealing ring is provided with section on inner surface with inclined grooves evenly distributed over perimeter. Grooves are made on side of sealing cavity and are brought in communication with it. Ring has smooth section. Grooves are made at acute angle relative to leading edge of ring in way of rotation of shaft. Circular groove is provided between section having inclined grooves and trailing edge of ring.
