FIELD: handling liquids. SUBSTANCE: pump includes impeller mounted on drive shaft in housing and sealing rings whose inner surfaces are engageable with cylindrical surfaces of impeller webs. Part of inner surface of sealing rings is provided with grooves from side of sealing cavity; grooves are communicated with this cavity and are evenly distributed over perimeter and oriented to leading edge of ring at acute angle in way of rotation of impeller. EFFECT: increased service life of sealing rings, increased pressure at pump outlet and reduced leakage inside pump. 3 dwg
