FIELD: domestic and industrial water heaters and boiler units. SUBSTANCE: device has fire tube, heat-transfer augmenter, and screw-type gas-flow extension piece; heat-transfer augmenter is placed in tube low-heat-transfer region and screw-type gas-flow extension piece is made in the form of spiral strip placed on heat- transfer augmenter. For fire-tube devices of primarily industrial boiler units, the function of heat-transfer augmenter is performed by heat-transfer vessel provided with water and/or steam inlet and outlet pipes one of which is dipped in heat-transfer vessel down to its bottom. For fire-tube devices of primarily domestic applications, auxiliary fire tube with valve is used as heat-transfer augmenter. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 7 cl, 11 dwg
