FIELD: wood drying by electromagnetic wave energy. SUBSTANCE: method involves wood heating by energy of electromagnetic waves and its blowing down with hot air of definite temperature and humidity, keeping wood in hot state when its temperature in center is higher than on surface and ambient temperature is lower than wood surface temperature, measuring wood humidity, and ceasing drying process as soon as desired final humidity is attained. Device has chamber, microwave oscillators connected to radiators placed on chamber walls, false ceiling carrying fans and heaters, air humidifiers, plenum and exhaust ventilation pipes, weigher mounting stacked-wood truck, thermometers for measuring air and wood temperature.
