FIELD: geophysics. SUBSTANCE: cable is manufactured with two or three pairs of lay of wires of armoring. Coat of plastic adhesive material is applied between pairs, adhesive also fills gaps between wires in lay. Diameter of wires in second and third pairs of lay of armoring exceeds diameter of wires of first pair by factor of 1.3-2.5. Cable includes three sections. Diameter of lower section is 28-32 mm, diameter of medium section is 22-23 mm and diameter of upper section is 15-18 mm. Method of examination of holes with the use of geophysical cable consists in pushing of device with the aid of mentioned cable to face of hole during drilling or through sealing unit in producing holes.
