FIELD: oil geophysics, geophysical investigation of inclined and horizontal wells. SUBSTANCE: cable includes two parts: lower part working is horizontal sections of well and upper part operating in vertical section. Armor consisting of three layers of steel zinc-plated wire as minimum is used in upper part, spaces between layers and wires in layers are filled with polymer material with weighting filling agent. Lower part of cable is so made that portion of wires starting from second or third layer is cut off with uniform distribution of cutting points over length of part. Wires in upper layer of armor can be laid without cutting over entire cable length with up to 50% reduction of density of wire laying in layer. EFFECT: enhanced pushing capability with maintenance of large load-carrying capacity. 6 cl, 3 dwg
