FIELD: communications engineering. SUBSTANCE: converter has coder and decoder connected to communication line, input transducer 3 inserted between coder 1 and communication line, and output transducer 4 inserted between communication line and decoder. Input transducer 3 has flip-flop 5, power amplifiers 6,7, center-tapped transformer 8. Second option has, in addition, clock frequency separator 14 and clock generator 15 connected to second inputs of coincidence circuit whose first inputs are connected to outputs of flip-flop 5. Output transducer 4 has center- tapped transformer 15, delay line, and adder 17. Second option has, in addition, input amplifier 18 and clock frequency separator 19. Signal power is increased by 9 dB. Transducer can be used for both newly developed and quantity-produced equipment without introducing any changes. EFFECT: reduced length of communication line and number of required repeaters. 2 cl, 7 dwg
