Each intermediate assembly has two hinge-joined tie-rods connected to the punch and sliding stop respectively. Braced handles are linked to the hinges of each intermediate assembly. The sliding stop is linked with a retainer ring and screw pair. The movable member of the screw pair may have a flange with recesses uniformly spaced on the outside diameter for flange engagement with one of the handles through a movable coupling.
