FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: timing mechanism has distributor installed in sleeve secured in cylinder block and made in the form of pack of disc gates arranged on splines of shaft coupled with engine output shaft and provided with end face ports pointed by end face surfaces with end face ports to end face surfaces of bushings to let working medium in and out. Each bushing has inner space with radial and end face ports in number corresponding to number of cylinders. Sleeve, gates and bushings are placed coaxially with shaft, and bushings are connected with sleeve. Gates are fixed axially by means of spacers installed on shaft between gates to provided minimum guaranteed clearance between end face surfaces of gates and working medium inlet and outlet bushings pointed to each other.
