FIELD: technology testing and examining working processes in automobile steering, process of operational development of newly developed steerings and their test and diagnostics during usage. SUBSTANCE: bed includes welded frame resting via support against axle with tires of controlled pressure and ballast axle loader or vertical load and via rotary mechanism against axle of hydrocylinders of turn of bed, steering column coupled to steering gear that is coupled to hydrocylinders via longitudinal tie, hydraulic pump coupled via wedge-belt transmission to electric motor and via distributor to power cylinder moved by driver's seat mounted on frame of bed in trolleys with stoppers, electric measurement equipment connected to liquid pressure transducers, device setting angle of turn of bed and reading device. EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of characteristics of tested steering and psychophysiological efforts of driver for control. 3 dwg
