FIELD: transport engineering; steering gears. SUBSTANCE: steering gear is furnished with additional reduction gear installed between steering wheel and propeller shaft drive and step up gear installed between propeller shaft drive and steering mechanism. Propeller shaft drive has two universal joints and two telescopic propeller shafts. Propeller shafts, in their turn, are coupled with angular adjustment device. Gear rations of reduction gear and step-up gear are selected to provide turning of propeller shaft drive through angles of +π-/2 with steerable wheels turned to both sides from neutral position to stop. Propeller shafts angular adjustment device is made in form of bushing coupled with steering wheel bracket by means of screw drive and installed on sleeve of telescopic propeller shaft connected with steering wheel through its telescopic part and reduction gear.
