FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking diurnal urine sample collected in one reservoir and measuring its quantity. After performing preliminary hydrolysis of urine aliquot, quantitative content of hydroxyproline according to Bergman and Locksley method in any of its modern modification. Connective tissue cicatrix formation control is carried out in the postmyocardial infarction aftercare period by taking into consideration the change in hydroxyproline level. The moment necrosis focus cicatrix formation is over is distinguished by normalized level of hydroxyproline in diurnal urine sample. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy in determining the end of cicatrix formation process.
