FIELD: communications. SUBSTANCE: method involves simultaneous transmission of information signal which is modulated with transmitted message and of reference signal for transmission which is used in receiver for correlation processing. Signal is transmitted using wide-band signal which spectrum width is equal to or is less than minimal frequency of this spectrum. In addition information and reference signals which are generated in this signal differ in time position and/or frequency but are not separated in spectrum and time. Self-correlation processing during receiving is achieved without preliminary separation of these signals. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities of information transmission due to increased band of transmitted signal using self- correlation processing method. 6 cl, 3 dwg
