FIELD: stomatology; cosmetology for bleaching teeth and for preventing degradation of their color. SUBSTANCE: liquid, film-forming polymeric composition is intended for slowed-down release and contains the following main components: peroxidic oxidizing agent, water-soluble cellulose-derived polymer, namely, hydroxypropyl-(-ethyl-, methyl-) cellulose or hydroxyethyl-(methyl-) cellulose, or carboxymethyl cellulose, carrier, namely, ethanol and/or water, and stabilizing additive. Bleaching and treatment of teeth is accompanied by applying composition onto teeth. If it is necessary to effect internal bleaching of teeth, composition is injected into cavity of dental crown.
