FIELD: methods of joining metal sheets laid on each other by local plastic deformation in which interlocking joint is formed. SUBSTANCE: first, made in one sheet is depression by local pressing-out which confines the formed joint in one direction, and then sheets are compressed which are adjacent to depression by displacing the material into depression in transverse direction.
