FIELD: process technologies.

SUBSTANCE: method according to the invention involves the following operations: manufacturing of a first preliminary version of an item within a first profiled or outline cut-off segment by cutting a first portion of a foam plastic piece part pressed in a first negative form. It is followed by impressing a portion of a first preliminary version of the item within the first profiled or outline cut-off segment by means of a thrust punch in a second negative form. As a positive, the thrust punch is matched with the first portion of the foam plastic piece part cut by appropriate cutting off. The item with the profiled cut-off segment applied respectively on the first profiled or outline cut-off segment by cutting of the portion of the first preliminary version pressed in the second negative form. It is supplied with the (second) profiled cut-off segment applied on the first profiled or outline cut-off segment and reaching deeper than the first cut-off segment. The preferable indented applications of the method and the related foam plastic items under the inventions are, e.g. pillows.

EFFECT: even precision performance of the irregularly shaped profiled cut-off segments in foam plastic.
