FIELD: mechanical engineering and ship building, in particular, mechanized cutting of parts from sheet material. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing basic cutting oxygen jet extending through apex of scalene triangle along cutting axis and two additional jets flowing following basic jet and extending through two other apexes of triangle, with all jets falling in direction perpendicular to surface of metal to be cut. Cutter is fixed in support for rotation about axis of basic cutting oxygen jet. Additional openings of cutting jets in tip are equally spaced one relative to another and to basic jet, with space being equal to two-three diameters of basic jet outlet opening. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method, wider operational capabilities and improved quality of parts cut by such method. 3 cl, 2 dwg
